Greenbrier Elopement

Large river rocks, wide trails, and lush forest. You really get all the magic at Greenbrier. As a Galtinburg photographer, I love capturing weddings at this elopement location. As a Gatlinburg elopement planner, I get great feedback from the couples who choose to have a Greenbrier elopement! This location is a must when considering where to elope in the Smoky Mountains. Here’s why.

Location

East of Gatlinburg and on the northern side of the National Park is Greenbrier. This dreamy elopement location is just about 20 minutes from Gatlinburg. But, you will feel like you have stepped into a whimsical world. The location is heavily forested for an intimate elopement and has a partially paved entrance road for your convenience.

It is important to note that although this location is easy to get to, the small hike into the river rocks makes it not easy to access for those in wheelchairs or have other mobility limitations.

Features Of A Greenbrier Elopement

Greenbrier is known for its rivers and waterfalls, making it perfect for adventurous couples who want a dramatic backdrop in their images. I love using this quiet portion of the river for ceremonies. In addition to it being less trafficked, the river rocks are so large that you can easily keep dry while standing on them during a ceremony.

As well, there are nicely kept trail off the river beds that offer more woodland vibes. This portion of the location is especially beautiful during the summer and fall. The winter and spring trees are more sparse. And if you really want to take advantage of the foliage here, we can get more into the tree line, creating stunning forest wedding images.

Planning a Greenbrier elopement is one of my favorites as a Gatlinburg elopement planner! Let’s connect and talk more about if this location is right for you!
